A client asked me:
“Does having one particularly intense or energized session sort of change the energy of the day and make the rest of the sessions more likely to be that way?”
This is an interesting question. When one of my clients has an intense “breakthrough” healing session, I know there is a very good chance there will be more such sessions in the immediate future.
I revisited a post I wrote in 2012 called Patterns in a Healing Practice. In it, I wrote how clients with the same issues and conditions seem to appear in my healing practice in waves: waves of clients with anxiety and stress, waves of clients with knee concerns, waves of pregnant clients. I noted that being in the healing space on a daily basis gave me a sense of being connected to some kind of deep cosmic current.
This “Deep Cosmic Current” appears to facilitate different healing opportunities at different times, accessing the specific energy needed for those deep transformative healings. Clients that I work with weekly, bi-weekly and monthly will frequently have “breakthrough” sessions at the same time. I sense that there are just certain times when certain healings energies are more available than others.
Could this be because of me? Could my personal energy, mood, biorhythms of the day, be a significant influence?
Over the years there have been days when I had felt “less than perfect” when I arrived at work in the morning, and those days have often been unusually high energy and beneficial for my clients. These are the times I sense my role is not so significant in the healing process. It feels more like the client and I are surfing a universal wave together.
This is another reason regular self-care healing sessions are so valuable. Energy sessions are helpful on any given day, yet there are days when there appears to be more energy available, in which the veil of separation is thinner between spirit and matter, periods in which divine grace is more accessible in the cosmic current.
These are auspicious times to have a healing scheduled.

How true is this we do have an opportunity to observe certain patterns in the Universe in our healing sessions. I have also observed that when I’m not at what I feel my tip top shape there have been some very powerful healings. A matter of getting out of the way.
