I often give clients simple healing tools and meditations to support them between sessions. I have a short meditation to help people run energy through their bodies, so if they wake up in the middle of the night they can put their hands on their heart and feel the warm calming energy of their hands.  Often these easy meditations facilitate great release.

Healing: A Total Dropping Of Any “Trying”

Below is a testimony from a client.  It beautifully describes that place of not thinking.

“Driving home I was trying to articulate what I felt during our session today. The closest I came was that I felt a deep “relaxation” (for lack of a better term)–a total dropping of any “trying”. Dear Jeri:
I want to share an experience I had recently. I was working on a client and during the session, I had a strong feeling of motherly love for her, a sense that she was my child and I wished her peace and well being (I thought of Our Lady and divine motherly love and imagined her surrounded in that loving energy.)  At the end of the session the client thanked me and was in tears, she mentioned she felt “so supported.”  During the session, she had felt that her mother was on one side of her and her mother-in-law was on the other side of the table. They were both letting her know that she was supported and that she “had this,” that she was going to be OK. Both mothers had passed away from a similar illness as the one my client had been receiving treatment for. My client’s feedback was such a validation to what I had experienced during the session and a confirmation of “why” I LOVE doing energy healing!

A Testimonial: Distance Healing During Hospice

I would like to share a text I received from a client.  Last month she asked me to do a distance healing for her uncle who was in hospice.

The distance healing had been done on Zoom, and the healing space was so tangible and profoundly beautiful. Even though death was so close, it felt incredibly life-affirming. Energy healing is very supportive for people about to transition – even at a distance.

Healing In Hospitals

A quote from the book: A Business Of Healing

Poetry In A Healing Session

The quote below is from a much longer email written by a client after her Healing Touch session. She receives weekly healings and has an amazing mental capacity to remember her experience of the energy work with meticulous clarity and detail. She is also a gifted writer and I have learned so much from her writing. This particular session consisted of a long Charka Connection as taught in the Healing Touch Program:

    “There were so many different things going on. It’s been a while since there were quite that many things that happened. I swear–every time you shifted to a different part of my body, my experience changed entirely. The one thing that was consistent was that there was a quietness (I wanted initially to say stillness, but that was not the right word) that moved through me. It wasn’t any kind of movement or vibration or heat or anything; it felt most closely like those really still rivers–the way the water can be almost flat but still moving. That’s sort of what it felt running through me the entire time. There were moments of heat and warmth, but not really much more intense energy that that quiet movement.”

Energetic Healing: Emotional Release Isn’t Always Emotional

Emotional release can be a very gentle process. When you deeply relax in a peaceful state there is often an effortless falling away of stress and emotional overwhelm. One of my clients beautifully described her experience last week:

A Restful Healing

It is important to remember that some of the most profound and beneficial healing sessions may be the ones that appear to be the least dramatic. I tend to write more about the exciting breakthroughs my clients experience in their Healing Touch and Reiki treatments, yet often the peaceful, very still sessions create the most profound shifts in the lives of my clients.

“I felt SO much better after our session yesterday.  It almost surprised me how much better I felt, because nothing huge or dramatic happened during the session. Remarkably, by the time I left yesterday, I felt completely rested despite getting one night’s adequate sleep across two instead, and I carried that forward all day.  Some of the irritability and stress had lifted too, and I finally slept well (though still not enough) and woke up feeling rested this morning.  Thank you! “

Self-Care Before The Family Holiday

The Holidays are more enjoyable when you take care of yourself. Now is an excellent time to schedule a Healing Touch session to help you stay balanced, centered and grounded through the month ahead.

“I feel SO much better since our session Wednesday–thank you!  It feels a lot like the cloud of depression or heaviness or whatever that landed as soon as I left the workshop has finally mostly lifted.  It is a sensation of being physically lighter (and more energized, but in a good way) and just feeling more balance and less easily angry.  I’m grateful to have this now–and grateful to have this too going into a week at home with my family.”
