My clients have had quite a few paradigm shifts in the last few months. I have not written much about this before because expectations of what could happen in a session can block what is actually happens. I feel I should write about it now because it is occurring so often.
One of my ‘gifts’ as an energetic practitioner is the ability to hold space for clients to come into balance and release physical, mental, and emotional pain. Most people initially come to me to address physical issues such as headaches and chronic back pain or to support them as they heal from a cancer diagnosis. Many people come because they want to learn to relax. Most of my clients have never had any kind of energy work or alternative healing modality before.
As my clients receive a series of sessions, they begin to clear blocks that have kept them from recognizing their innate intuitive abilities. They may experience a hand on their shoulder while I am holding their feet or sense the presence of their grandmother, who died ten years earlier. They often report that they felt tangible comfort, healing, and support from a non-physical being.
I find that these experiences happen when they need to happen, and whatever happens or does not happen in a healing session is perfect. That being said, when people who see themselves as rational and reality-based, experience a spirit guide or tangible nonphysical presence, it is, to say the least, a game-changer.
When our paradigm of reality shifts, we open to so many more possibilities.
