Since starting this healing blog, I don’t think I’ve ever gone this long without writing a post.
February marked a turning point, and since then, my schedule has been packed. Business is thriving, but I’ve missed the rhythm of sharing my thoughts on healing and energy.
One realization I would like to share is how mainstream my work now feels. I find this somewhat hysterical and quite positive. I have always felt like being an Energetic Practitioner was ‘out there,’ and I had to present myself and my business in a grounded, professional manner.
A few weeks ago, I attended the New Living Expo as I have for many decades. I have discovered so much at this event over the decades: new energy modalities, books, spiritual practices, music, health products, remarkable healers, and healing schools. This yearly event has always enriched my healing practice.
This year, my partner and I got a room at the hotel, and I spent three days feeling like the most conservative person in the room.
There were panel discussions on Ascension (a favorite topic of mine), Channeling, Extraterrestrial Civilizations, and Astrology. The first panel I attended was Ancient Civilizations, which was perfect because it featured recent, irrefutable, tangible archeology discoveries that hooked me right in. There were talks on Microdosing as a Spiritual practice, many Light Language activations, and a Sound Healing Sanctuary staffed by diverse practitioners offering sessions throughout the three days.
I experienced many Light Language practitioners, and I could feel the energetic transmissions. There is something very real and powerful there.
This year, the Expo was organized by Neil Gaur, Founder of Portal to Ascension. He did a fantastic job, although I am sure there will be a few more food trucks there next year. From the New Living website:
“Neil is a philosopher, historian, researcher and spoken word artist. He presents his research on the ancient wisdom and future science of sound, vibration & frequency; as well as in depth explorations into ancient civilizations, archeological discoveries, space anomalies.”
There is so much to say about this event. Top of my list is how positive it was. Everyone was so happy to be there. There was a sense that everything ‘negative’ that has been happening in the world has always been there, and that it is only now being revealed. This is because a huge shift is coming to our consciousness and the world.
I want to believe this, I want to be a part of it, but I have to say I was still looking around for the Kool-Aid. Most of this was outside my reality paradigm, and it will take some time to settle.
I feel different, though. Something shifted those three days. Previously, I might have hesitated to write about such experiences without a solid, concrete opinion. Instead, I am sharing this unfolding journey.
One thing I know for sure. I will be going back next year.
