Andrzej Skwira has left the earth.
He is a great spirit, and while he was embodied on the planet he transformed many lives, including mine.
During my Clarity Breathwork training about fifteen years ago, I did ten breathes with him. To be certified in Clarity Breathwork at that time, part of the process was to breathe ten times with a man and ten sessions with a woman.
Before working with Anjay, I had only worked one-on-one with my first breathworker, Maggie Ostara. Maggie held space for me with so much strength and intensity; I would have never gone to anyone else if I had not wanted to be certified. I am so glad wanted to be certified.
On the days I would meet with Anjay, I would drive early in the morning to Pacifica from Oakland. Sometimes the fog was so thick I almost had to pull the car over. It was like driving to a different country, to another world. I would get there early and walk on the beach before meeting him in the hotel where he and Ashanna were giving sessions.
I opened to a whole new dimension of presence, peace, and life in my sessions with Anjay. I often think back to the talks we had before and after I breathed. Those sessions expanded my consciousness and created the foundation of my meditation practice.
How can you thank someone who has made such a difference in your life, especially when they have left the earth? Maybe one way is to share this story of how much deeper I live my life because of my work with him.
