Last week was a crazy busy, reschedule-every-client-three-times, break through, break open, grab-the-sides-of-the-boat kind of week. Extremely wonderful, extremely intense. You know, the kind of week we all seem to be having at this moment in time.
On Saturday, I was desperately attempting to get caught up with life and be ready for work on Monday. My first goal was to get the laundry done. After starting three large loads in my building’s laundry room, I discovered the dryers in my building were not working.
I was not happy.
I had to instantly restructure my highly organized Things-To-Accomplish-On-Saturday list to get my clothes dry.
I pulled into the parking lot of Woody’s Laundromat and took the first load of wet laundry inside to throw in the dryer. I came back only minutes later to discover the tree by my car had just fallen over.
A very big tree. Roots were in the air. I was only gone for 5 minutes.
It felt like a message from the universe. In an instant I made a second list:
Let go of List #1.

Wow! So glad you weren’t in the path of that tree!

Glad you’re safe!

Thanks! I glad also! What a visual it was.
The last couple of days have been like that for us.! Love you
I know, Right? 🙂
I hear ya! When my sister and I have days like that (which I’m having this week!) we like to think of ourselves as a cool, cool stream flowing over the rocks that try to block our path.
I’m feeling that. Thanks!
