Reentering ‘normal’ life after a pandemic is overwhelming. I am surprised at how stressful this shift has been for everyone, including myself. Nothing feels normal anymore. For many people, nothing feels safe. It is so easy to emotionally shut down.
How can you stay safe, and keep your heart open, as you step back out into the world? As you enter into rooms with more than three people and attend public gatherings? When do you stop wearing your mask?
It is so inspiring to see Reiki, and Healing Touch gently, but profoundly, assist my clients as they navigate this transition. Energetic healing resets the nervous system. I know how essential receiving my own Healing Touch sessions have been for me during this shift.
Self-care is mandatory now. Things that we may have thought of as luxury expenses are now basic survival strategies for emotional and mental health. This may include massage, a long hot bath, acupuncture treatments, earthing, a walk on the beach, or an energetic healing session.
Take time to take care.
