Currently, I am seeing many clients with compromised sixth and seventh chakras. Over the last few months I am finding that these energy centers are not as open as the other five chakras.
The sixth energy center, or third eye chakra, rules perception, intelligence, and visualization. At the top of the head, the seventh chakra is the center of self-transcendence and connection to our highest wisdom.
It is no wonder when these two energy centers are not balanced we feel stuck, disconnected, uninspired, and even depressed.
I have noticed these two chakras open up in my healing sessions as soon as my client becomes grounded. I can feel the difference in a few minutes of holding their feet.
The simple act of helping my clients ground has profoundly affected their sense of well-being and emotional balance. Sometimes all it takes is one session.
Getting a healing session is, of course, a great way to make sure that you are reground. Yet, if you suddenly feel spacey, out-of-it, or weirdly disconnected, there are simple things you can immediately do to rebalance.
Try standing barefoot on the earth for at least ten minutes. Twenty minutes is better, but I know we don’t always have that kind of time—Check in with your body before and after to see if you notice a difference.
If you can’t get outside, you can try energetically grounding. Put your attention on the bottoms of your feet and/or the base of your spine, and imagine a grounding cord connecting to the center of the earth. This is a basic grounding technique that is so simple and so effective. It becomes more tangible the more you do it. Try it and see if you notice a difference.
